What a casting profile is
A casting profile is your presentation in Sille Schnoor's database. Sille uses it when she is looking for people for productions — in front of and behind the camera. Creating one is free, and taking part is voluntary.
A profile is not a promise of work. It gives no right to be put forward for a role, and there is no guarantee that you will be contacted.
What you confirm
- That your information is correct. Date of birth, height and experience must be accurate — a wrong profile wastes everyone’s time, including yours.
- That you have the rights to the photos you upload. If a photographer took them, you must have permission to use them here.
- That you do not upload photos of other people without their consent.
Approval
New profiles are reviewed by Sille before they become visible. We may reject or remove a profile without giving a reason — for example if the information is clearly wrong, or if the photos do not belong in a casting database.
Who sees your profile?
Sille and the casters she has approved. In addition, a specific production team can get a private link to a selection of profiles. That view shows name, age, height, place of residence, agency and your tags — but not your date of birth, email or phone — and the link can be closed again. Your photos are kept in a closed folder and are only delivered to those with access.
Children and young people
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must approve the profile. If you are under 13, you cannot create the profile yourself — an adult must do it for you. The profile does not become visible until this is in place.
A profile for a child is different from a profile for an adult, so it follows its own rules. They are listed here so that children, parents and casters can all see them:
- The account belongs to the guardian. A parent or guardian creates the profile, logs in and manages it. The child does not have their own login.
- The child's contact details are not shown. The guardian's email and phone are on the profile — also once the profile has been approved.
- Casters write to the guardian. Never directly to the child. Contact that bypasses the guardian is not acceptable, and we close access for anyone who does it.
- Photos are reviewed. All profiles are approved manually, and on children’s profiles we take particular care that the photos belong in a casting database. We do not accept swimwear, underwear or similar on a profile for a minor — no matter who uploaded them.
- The guardian may come along. To meetings, castings and screen tests. This also applies online. We neither ask nor expect a child to show up alone.
- No CPR numbers, no payment. Neither Sille nor anyone casting on her behalf will ask for a CPR number, bank details or payment to be considered. If it happens anyway, it is a scam — tell us right away.
The guardian can delete the child's profile at any time under My profile. If the guardian has several children in the database, they are on the same account and can be switched between in the same place.
You decide over your profile
You can edit it at any time, switch off individual consents, or delete it completely under My profile. If you delete it, your profile, your photos, your applications, your search agents and your place in any share links you are part of disappear. This cannot be undone.
Search agents
If you create a search agent, we email you when a new posting matches your criteria. That is the only email the agent sends. You can switch it off or delete it on your profile.
Changes
We may change these terms. If we change anything significant in what you have consented to, we will ask you again rather than assume you agree.
