What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer or phone when you visit a website. It can remember things between page views — for example, that you are logged in or what you answered in the cookie banner.
What we use them for
Necessary
They must be there for the site to work. WordPress sets a cookie when you log in to your casting profile so that you are not logged out with every click. The cookie banner itself sets one so that we can remember your answer and not ask again on every page view. Necessary cookies do not require your consent.
Functional, statistics and marketing
They are only set if you say yes in the cookie banner. If you say no, they are not set. You can always change your mind — click the cookie icon at the bottom of the page and choose again.
Third parties
- Google — if you enter your city when creating a casting profile, what you type will be sent to Google Places so we can suggest city names. Google may set cookies in this regard. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Embedded content — if you play a podcast or video from Spotify, YouTube or Apple, they set their own cookies on their own terms.
How to get rid of them
You can always delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can set your browser to reject them. If you do this, you will not be able to log in to your casting profile.
